Over the years, the battle royale genre has skyrocketed in popularity, with titles like Apex Legends and Fortnite gaining immense success.

Many franchises have attempted their take on this formula, including the Vampire The Masquerade series, which introduces its own battle royale adventure in Bloodhunt.

Is Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt Crossplay? 

The answer is straightforward: yes, it does. So players on the PlayStation 5 and PC can participate in the same matches. However, there’s a significant catch. Although both platforms can populate matches, players can only form squads with others on the same platform in the lobby. Bloodhunt’s pre-game lobbies, known as Elysium, are specific to each platform, so meeting a friend with different hardware relies on sheer luck.

Unfortunately, this setup means that groups using different platforms can only face off against each other and can’t team up in a game.

How crossplay works in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt 

If you’re on PC, you’re in luck! Crossplay is automatically activated and can’t be turned off. This means every game you join will include both PC and PS5 players.

However, if you’re playing on PlayStation 5, you do have the option to disable crossplay. This option is provided to ensure compliance with technical regulations and requirements.

To toggle crossplay in Bloodhunt, just go to the Options Menu and customize the setting according to your choice.

However, it’s important to heed the developers’ caution about altering the settings. On the official website, they advise, “Please be aware that turning off crossplay could result in longer matchmaking waits. Therefore, we highly suggest keeping crossplay enabled for smoother gameplay.”
