Although you can play solo with a helpful robot named Bosco, Deep Rock Galactic truly excels in multiplayer mode. In this mode, you team up with three other players to explore the caves, each assuming a unique role for the mission.

Given the game’s availability on multiple platforms, you might wonder if it supports cross-platform play. Being able to connect with friends regardless of their device is certainly convenient.

Is Deep Rock Galactic cross-platform?

Yes, Deep Rock Galactic supports cross-platform play, though there are some limitations based on your platform.

Currently, Deep Rock Galactic supports crossplay for Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC via Windows. This allows players on these platforms to enjoy cross-platform features and play with friends.

However, despite being available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, crossplay is not yet supported. 

While there is potential for crossplay to be introduced for PlayStation consoles and the Steam version, the developers have not provided any timeline for this update.
